[jasig-incubation] moving repo's in github

Steve Swinsburg-3
Hi all,

What is the best way to move a repo that you do not own, into the Jasig group?

This repo is the authoritative source:
https://github.com/cjgwhite/ContactsPortlet

But obviously I cannot move it since it isn't mine. If I fork it to the Jasig repo then it shows up as being forked from the original location but I'm presuming we want the Jasig one to be the top level one, or does that not matter.

It seems to me the way to do it is to make cjgwhite an admin and get them to transfer it but that doesn't sound like a good idea. Should I just fork it to the Jasig repo?

cheers,
Steve

've sent a note to the owner and added him to the migration team. So it should be moved shortly.
