Laurent Charlin to Speak on AI and Open Source Software at

OPEN APEREO 2018
"The Open Source Conference for Education"
June 3-7, 2018 | Montréal, Quebec
Register Now!

Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic in education, with much – often polarised – debate around potential benefits and perceived threats.

Laurent Charlin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences at HEC Montréal will open this year's Open Apereo 2018 conference with a keynote on "Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning." Laurent will provide much-needed background around key AI paradigms such as machine learning, deep learning and neural networks and their implications, and offer perspectives on the relationship between AI and open source software.

We encourage you to explore the full conference program and join us in Montréal, Quebec from June 3-7.
