Are you interested in professional development? Why not submit a proposal to speak at Open Apereo 2018?

The Open Apereo 2018 Call for Proposals is open NOW!

Speaking at conferences is beneficial to both you as a professional and your institution and here’s why:

  1. Research Ideas: While at conferences, faculty have the opportunity to talk with other professionals and generate new ideas for research.

  2. Visibility: Speaking at a conference keeps you and your institution at the forefront of the industry. It is a great public relations opportunity for you and your institution and puts your name out there.

  3. Introspection: Having to prepare something to speak about allows you to reflect upon your own practice and make changes.

  4. Inspiration: Speaking at a conference also allows you to learn from others. You may learn new teaching techniques, new innovation ideas, and more!

  5. Networking: A conference is a great way to meet people from other institutions with whom you can network and share ideas! It is a great way to build your professional learning community.

Submit a proposal for Open Apereo 2018 today!

The final proposal deadline is Friday, January 26, 2018. The program committee will review and accept submissions during the open submission period. The committee expects to have proposals reviewed and final acceptances by mid-February.
