Service Tickets generated many times, when page refreshed.

Am new to CAS. I have deployed the CAS Server and the CAS client on Tomcat 7.0.50. Both are SSL enabled. When i access my web application, it gets forwarded to CAS server for authentication and upon successful authentication, it gets redirected to the web-application with the required Service Tickets. However, when i refresh any page or try to access other links in the application, in the background it generated around 70-80 Service tickets each time, and the application page doesnt come up, and turns up to be blank barring a few texts.

Is there some configuration that is missing in any of the files.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Been looking into this issue for quite some time now, and google too dint help much.
