A lot of times this means there is data in the external table that is not defined by a reference item.  In this case the financial aid file status is the item.  If you don’t intent to use any financial information, then the associated tables should be empty.

RE: FW: SSP Financial File Error

We are importing financial data  and would like to use it, but we are occasionally seeing that error.

Any ideas on how to resolve or suppress the error?

Thanks,

JH

Is it because the status field is empty?

The error exist because you have data values in the external tables that are not defined in SSP admin.  You can either

1)  Not load data into external tables
2)  Create the appropriate reference items to match the data you are loading

RE: FW: SSP Financial File Error

Jonathan Hart

Defaulting that column to INCOMPLETE and stopped the error message. Thanks, JH
